The location of Kudo's office was the Dowa Hospital (同和病院) building in the Kanda part of Tokyo, a brick building from the Taisho era, which sadly was demolished in 1999 and replaced with an apartment block.

The mural containing the Mona Lisa used in the end credits (accompanied by the Lonely Man song) was along Shibuya Koen Dori (公園通り) in Shibuya, Tokyo. It has now been demolished, and a Gap shop stands in its place.
