Romeo Must Die (2000)

Kung-fools square off for some chop-socky

Jet Li plays a man intent on finding out who killed his brother.

The lesson for people highly skilled in martial arts is clear, don't have a brother, otherwise he'll get killed, and you'll have to avenge his death by kicking and punching a variety of fellows.

Jet (Romeo) also encounters a Chinese lady with skills including motorcycling whilst machine-gunning, and kung-fu-fighting, with kicks as fast as lightening, which get a little bit frightening. Because he can't hit a girl, he's forced to use his romantic interest as a proxy fighter, which he does with expert timing. Unfortunately the talented machine gun lady then comes to a sticky end.

Typical martial arts silliness with added rap music.
