Does no-one else notice how absurd this is?

If twenty-five year old beauty Margot Robbie dresses to the nines in a revealing dress and walks through a crowd, nearly every single man in the crowd will notice her. If Margot decides to do some extremely obvious thieving using her allure to distract the "mark", nearly every single man in the crowd will notice her thieving, and Margot will swiftly be arrested, ending her life of crime.

In this film the pickpockets work in league to rob people, then they have little "rooms" full of gnomes organising all the money and jewellery on tables, and little money counting machines, and a special discount on credit cards.

Has nobody involved in this movie ever met a criminal? People who have the skill and organisation to do something like that don't become criminals, since they can get legitimate jobs. People who pick other people's pockets for a living are not the kind of people who set up little business rooms with money-counting machines and have lots of trusty workers arranging all the spoils in tidy format.

I can't understand how people watch this kind of nonsense without being baffled as to what is supposed to be going on, as Will Smith does this sort of "explanation" where we're supposed to believe he's some kind of slick criminal mind. It's like watching people put clockwork toys in the water and then pretend that they are doing the olympic swimming contest.

I have no idea how people can suspend disbelief about something this brazenly ridiculous.
