It starts off pretty ridiculous, with Brad Pitt jumping someone riding a horse around some tanks. Then it gets worse.
In the first battle scene, four Sherman tanks cross open ground against embedded machine guns and two artillery guns. Instead of destroying all the Shermans in short order, the Germans manning the artillery guns take it in turns to fire, waiting until the Sherman tanks have destroyed the other German positions, and being considerate enough to miss every shot.
On the other hand, Brad Pitt and co, being superheros, instantly destroy the concealed artillery.
It continues in this vein to the end.
It's just a bunch of nonsense.
