I thought this was going to be about something like the Special Air Service or Long Range Desert Group in the Second World War, but it's just a load of absolute tosh about people who backstab each other and sabotage their own missions for no apparent reason. It's not even done in an entertaining way, and it's just irritating to watch.
I don't want to summarise the plot, but you won't learn anything about "the gritty realities of war" from watching this, either.
It's a pity since the actual stories of the SAS and Long Range Desert Group in WW2 have never really made it to the screen as far as I know, and the real stories are much better than anything in this ludicrous film.
