Kiss the Girls (1997)

By-the-numbers thriller

Morgan Freeman is a forensic psychologist on the trail of a serial killer/kidnapper.

It is well made but it's the cinematic equivalent of paint-by-the-numbers, a collection of scenes based on other, similar, films, and very little in the way of genuine surprise or tension.

I would say it is very predictable. The first time that the surprise villain appeared on the screen, I thought "I'll bet he turns out to be the villain", and what do you know.

I can't recommend this very highly, but if you've never seen any other Hollywood thrillers in this genre you might enjoy it more than I did.
