Floyd on Britain & Ireland (1988-)

Keith Floyd's descent into self-parody

The first two Keith Floyd shows, Floyd on Fish (1985) and Floyd on Food (1986), were quite poorly made but at least they showed genuine recipes being made by the chef.

Floyd on Britain & Ireland was the beginning of Keith Floyd's descent into becoming a self-parody for the benefit of a TV audience and book sales, with fake recipes that the cast often don't even bother tasting, and ridiculous speeches from Keith about topics he probably only found out about the night before the TV show was broadcast.

In 2021 a fairly average Youtube cooking channel looks more impressive than this.
