Point Break (1991)

It's OK but Keanu's weird, wooden acting makes me cringe

I've seen this twice and it is not bad, but trying to watch any film with Keanu Reeves is something of a test of endurance.

The worst and most cringey scene in this picture is where Keanu tries to ingratiate himself at a beach party with a group of surfing bank robbers on the basis of his sporting successes.

It's like squeaky chalk on a blackboard to watch this extended embarrassing conversation, because he's so awkward, wooden, and unnatural, that it seems unbelievable that he was able to gain the bank robbers' trust. Considering the freakishly unnatural way he was behaving, I think if that was a real situation people would assume he was lying.

Let's hope Gepeto wishes on a star and turns wooden Keanu into a real boy soon.

Apart from that, the concept of the film is OK and I liked the ending.
