Five-year-old wannabe samurai Kotaro lives alone in a rather low-rent-looking apartment building. His neighbours are a struggling cartoonist, a lonely nightclub hostess, and a yakuza-ish middle-aged man who's separated from his wife.
I am on episode four, and so far I have no idea what Kotaro is doing living alone but he seems to be coping with the situation admirably.
