Bill Murray playing a sort of washed up Bruce Willis-like actor who has come to Japan to do commercials and bumps into Scarlett J who's been dumped at a hotel by her not-too-great boyfriend.
I like it because it has Bill Murray singing "More than This" by Roxy Music at a karaoke bar. There is also a funny scene with a prostitute and some fun conversations with Scarlett Johannson, and there is a very true-to-life scene with a truly idiotic interpreter who completely fails to translate the commercial director's instructions to Bill into English.
So I think it's quite a good film. But I have to say to people who think this film contains the meaning of life, or is incredibly moving and serious, or something, you really must be joking.
