It's a weak remake of Point Blank (1967).
The core idea of that film, Walker, a character who survives against all the odds by being very brutal and extremely clever, is removed and replaced with yet another of these only-exists-in-movies "wise guy" lead characters whom not many people could "root for", and the usual exaggerated villains in place of the corporate gangsters of the original film.
It has a few moments, but basically it's just another forgettable thriller with yet another annoying lead character.
