The Intern (2015)

A plot would be nice

I don't know if the makers of this film are aware, but most films have a story or a plot line. It would be great if this film had featured one. Instead there is ridiculous hokum where a bored old fellow played by De Niro decides to be an "intern" for a self-centred and impulsive woman, who, despite her all-too-obvious flaws, has managed to succeed in a business.

Then the intern does some odd jobs for the woman, and then the film ends, before it even seems to have started.

It's a nice idea and everything, but at the end of the film the lead woman is even more spoilt and annoying than she was at the start, and we are left with little clue about what is motivating this superannuated "intern" to act as a flunkey/gopher/lackey for an irritating and immature human being.
