Episode #1.6 (19 December 1985)

Trout in newspaper; pilchard failure; sashimi

Keith goes to a trout farm, but we don't see the trout themselves. The owner, Caroline, cooks trout in newspaper and Keith and Caroline eat it together.

Next, Keith goes on a fishing boat to catch pilchards, but despite having caught several tons the previous few nights, when Keith is there they catch only four. Keith cooks them on a grill, but refuses to explain his methods.

Next Keith, and a friend go to a Japanese restaurant in Bath and sample sashimi and teppanyaki prepared by a woman possibly called Chikako? Keith delivers a lecture on the battle of the sexes and how Japanese husbands help their wives on Sunday mornings.
