Keira Knightley plays a "bounty hunter" called Domino.
Keira is a very attractive woman, but her acting is quite awkward to watch, and with her in the leading role the film really is nearly unwatchable. The low point comes when Keira delivers a "lap dance". At least that was the low point for me since I could not watch any more. There may be lower points later on in the film.
Some actors have stunt doubles to do the dangerous stunt work and save them from injury, but Keira needs an acting double, so she can do the part where she looks pretty, and then someone competent can come in and substitute for her when any kind of acting is required, and we can be spared the sight of Keira trying to do something which is beyond her abilities. Perhaps with modern day CGI it might be possible to superimpose another actor's face with Keira's looks, and we can get the best of both worlds.
