Floyd on Spain (1992-)

Lackadaisical, only Floyd fans will enjoy this

If you are interested in learning about Spanish cuisine, there are probably any number of options available which are an improvement on this, such as looking on Youtube.

In 2021, the only reason I can think of for watching this is because you're a fan of Floyd, or you want to see what Spain looked like in the 1990s.

A lot of the dishes which Keith cooks are quite lazy things consisting of him throwing various ingredients into a pot with some wine. I really do not know why Keith made so little effort on the cookery front, it was extraordinarily lazy of him to appear on the television and present one unappetising-looking dish after another like this, cooked in a lackadaisical fashion. Keith seems to think that he can get by just by telling us how "wonderful" everything is, "wonderful olive oil", "fabulous green peppers", and on and on.

It's not too surprising that Floyd's TV career started to nosedive after this lazy series. There are also distinct signs of excessive interest in consuming alcohol, with Keith claiming that Spaniards drink in the morning as a justification for him to do so, repeatedly.
