Rest assured that this film is not "underrated" or "misunderstood". It's a piece of absolute unvarnished awfulness. It's so bad that it's embarrassing.
The only redeeming theory I have is that QT was trolling his fans and deliberately made a bad film as a prank to see if his fans would still try to be positive about it. But "The Hateful Eight" scotched that ray of hope.
People writing positive things about this film would probably write postive reviews of Quentin's used toilet paper.
