A good way to improve "Fight Club" would be to use the similar "Pow" and "Zap" and "Ker-Thunk" captions as used in Batman (1966). As each character hit another one, a big "POW" or "WALLOP" in brightly coloured lettering could appear in various formats, such as spinning around, or growing larger.
