It's not funny, it's not exciting, the dialogue is waffle, there is no story I've been able to detect, and the characters are of no interest to me. Did I miss anything?
Why do others rate this so highly? I'm not sure, but I think people claim this is a great film as a shibboleth to demonstrate how they are a cut above ordinary mortals in being able to appreciate how quintessential this is, or something, or another, or whatever it is. It's a "The emperor's new suit of clothes is of unrivalled splendour" sort of thing.
I've tried to watch this three times, each time thinking I must be mistaken to have thought this was worthless garbage, since so many disagree with me. Confession: I don't think I have ever managed to get to the end of it.
Absolutely nothing to see here, folks.
