Since this film was made, there have been five presidents of the USA: a man who dallied with interns in the Oval Office, a man who launched huge, failed wars on the basis of non-existent WMDs, a man who gave the words non-entity a whole new meaning, a bad orange man, and now a senile codger.
This was one of a spate of POTUS movies such as Air Force One from the 1990s. It's incredibly forgettable. I suggest making a movie about a senile codger who launches unjustifiable wars against middle-eastern countries while sending out offensive tweets about Robert De Niro and eating Double Chocolate Choco Chip ice cream, and dallying with various interns in the Oval Office. It would be "based on a true story".
It would be a lot more interesting than this which the only interesting thing about the story is that the lead male is POTUS.
